I hope you like my latest pop-up creation! I don’t think it will be my last.

I’ve included some score marks in the file to help you line these up correctly as well. Attach the large top portion with a layer or two of foam tape.įor the lower pieces, fold back the bottom, rectangular portions, and attach it as shown in the picture. Then, layer the pieces for the top portion together with foam tape.Ĥ. If you’d like to add any hand drawn details to the pieces, now is a good time to do it. Start by attaching the stars to the bursts, the roller skate details to their proper places, along with the boom boxes, and disco ball. Then, glue the two layers of the card together.ģ. Carefully fold the card so that “Dad” pops out correctly. I used a lime green color to mark the score lines, so hopefully that helps! If you’re not using the SVG file that includes score lines, you can use the PDF version as a reference to know where your folds should go.Ģ. Note: If you are using the SVG files that includes the score lines, don’t forget to set them as such in Cricut Design Space and attach them to their shapes before sending through your cutting machine. Use your cutting machine or X-ACTO knife, along with my template, to cut out all of the card pieces. Instead of going the tie and mustache route, I decided to go with a super fun, retro theme for this card: partly because it reminds me of the fun daddy-daughter dates my dad took me on to the skating rink (back when those were a thing), partly because retro things generally remind me of my dad, and partly because, well, simple awesomeness.ġ. I’m always proud of the designs I share here (otherwise, I wouldn’t share them), but I was particularly proud of myself after successfully making a pop-up Mother’s Day card last month! So, I decided to try my hand at another “pop-up” design for dad. Celebrate your dad, grandpa, or father-in-law with this intricate Father’s Day pop-up card!

Another “poppin'” paper craft coming at ya! Today I am sharing another extra special design for another extra special person in your life.
